Andrew Murr
Shooting Signs
Murr is a writing teacher and a longtime print journalist who lives in Los Angeles. Working mostly with film and aging medium-format cameras, he focuses his attention on the street – shooting signs of accidental fact, quirky ephemera and public expression of culture or personality. His older projects include series on a dead shopping center, L.A.’s potshops and the city’s urban RV campers.
