Incidents

I treat the subjects of my work as incidents rather than things: as if the spectator stood still, with everything passing the loophole of the mind in a continuous stream, and when something suddenly comes into focus, for that moment that something becomes the case. So it goes — an incident of a tree, an incident of a bird, etc. That said, I like to work in spacial environments, such as coastlines, airports and fields, where everything is more horizontal, and the objects become more isolated and less contextualized.

This selection contains photos from different series shot over the last 2 years, each series carrying an individual theme, varying from creating a particular emotional state to a study of colors and shapes as if on a modernist painting.
